Very cool, this is the second time a page of mine has been picked to be published on another website! Maybe I'm just getting the hang of this page design thing after all!
I've been so busy wrapped up in the Olympics here, I'm on the go from early in the morning 'til late at night trying to catch up on everything. Being a CT for two different websites, participating in challenges and the forums can keep you hopping! Then there's the regular everyday stuff like working, housework, pets, family . . . you know the drill. But I'm certainly learning a lot!
So back to my "Supreme Team" contest. Here's my week two entry – Dipsy Doodles by Dylabel Designs and Dancing Princess Designs
Here's week three which I just finished today – a kit by FWTS and JJ Scrapping called Springy.
I did manage to scrap another page from a cute kit from Dancing Princess – Whodunit. This brought back memories when my friends and I used to do a lot of the "Murder Mystery" parties. They were such a blast. We really got into decorating the murder scenes and dressing up our characters. This particular time – unbeknownst to everyone – a friend of ours was the "surprise" murder victim. It was hilarious. So the bloodied body you see here is NOT real – it's our friend playing the part!
And I just couldn't help but purchase a scrap kit to help benefit the people of Haiti. There's a very cool website that creates a kit every month and about 95% of the monies are donated to charities – and not just one particular one. They've donated to such things as Doctors Without Borders, Make A Wish Foundation, Lupus Foundation, National MS Society, S.A.F.E. House, Toys For Tots, Animal Haven, National Parkinson Foundation – well you get it, the list goes on and on. Very worthy! I think it's such a cool thing and such a large undertaking for the women involved. Top designers in the scrapbooking world donate their time and talent and I really commend them. This is the website, it's called Songbird Avenue – It was only $8 for a super huge kit. I mean I could make a whole book out of the choices from this kit. And the designers are so eclectic on this one. It's truly very cool. Here's the first page I created from it:
Okay – enough for today – off to watch Canada play the Swiss in Olympic hockey. I just hope it's not a repeat of Turin! Go Canada Go!!
