Sales and $2 Tuesday!

It's been a while since I've made a post here. Life sometimes just gets very hectic, very unsuspecting, throwing you curves left, right and center!

I've had my good friend of over 40 years stay with me for the past 3 months. She sold her float home and was in the midst of deciding what to do as she's supended her practice for a while and just wants to paint. She's a very talented lady, so hopefully she'll be able to do that over the course of the next few months. She's moved up to Haida Gwai to paint (a group of archipilago islands off the west coast of British Columbia). This was the view from where she has been stayhing - is that not inspirational??!!

So after giving up my office/2nd bedroom for a year-and-a-half after my son's condo fire, I finally got it back - for about 6 months! And then I got another roommate. Cue the "office is out of bounds again" card!

But now, after catching up on gardening, starting to make a playhouse and all the furniture for my granddaughter, painting the bathroom, and just general things on my "to do" list (after not having a lot of access to my computer), I've finally found some time to do some scrap designing again.
